Since Valentine’s Day is coming up, here are some recipes people can make.
- Chocolate-Covered Strawberries: Ingredients:
Fresh strawberries, Dark chocolate chips, and White chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Rinse and dry the strawberries thoroughly. 2. Melt the dark chocolate chips in a double boiler.
- Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate and place it on parchment paper to dry.
- Melt the white chocolate chips in a double boiler.
- Drizzle the white chocolate over the dark chocolate-covered strawberries.
- Allow the chocolate-covered strawberries to cool and harden before serving
- Heart-Shaped Pizza:
Ingredients:
Pizza dough, Tomato sauce, Shredded mozzarella cheese, Pepperoni slices, and Heart-shaped cookie cutter
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Roll out the pizza dough and use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the pizza crust.
- Spread tomato sauce on the pizza crust.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the tomato sauce.
- Place pepperoni slices on top of the cheese.
- Bake the heart-shaped pizza for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Red Velvet Cupcakes:
Ingredients:
2 ½ cups All-purpose flour, ½ cup Unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon of Baking soda, ½ teaspoon Salt, 1 cup Unsalted butter, 2 cups Granulated sugar, 4 Eggs, ¼ cup of Red food coloring, 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
– ½ cup Buttermilk
– 1 (8 ounces) pack of Cream cheese
– ½ cup of Powdered sugar
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time, and mix well.
- Add red food coloring and vanilla extract to the butter and sugar mixture.
- Mix in the dry ingredients and buttermilk, alternating between the two.
- Spoon the batter into cupcake liners and bake for 18-20 minutes.
- For the frosting, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
- Decorate the cooled cupcakes with the cream cheese.
