Student Spotlight: Bryson Theodule

Bryson is an 8th-grade student at Wellington Landings. He is on the school basketball team and below are some questions he answered.

 

  • What inspired you to play basketball and why?

A: A person who inspired me to play basketball is Kyrie Irving. Kyrie Irving inspired me to play basketball because of how he performs going against taller players and the way he can make plays for his team.

  • Is there anybody you look up to in the basketball community and why? 

A: Lebron James. I would pick Lebron James because he is very talented and it is exciting to watch him play.

  • How long have you been playing basketball?

A: I’ve been playing basketball for my whole life. 

  • What are your goals for the future?

A: My goals are to go D1 and make it to the NBA.

  • Why did you choose to play basketball? 

A: Because it’s fun to play with other people. I like to collaborate with my peers and create a positive environment within our team.

  • What does a regular day of training look like for you?

A: I have practice every Monday and Thursday. The days I don’t have practice I work out with my stepfather every day.
