Did you know that famous director and producer Steven Spielberg actually helped design parts of Universal Studios? Being a movie based theme park you can ride Hagrid’s motorbike, go on a deadly roller coaster with the Simpsons, race velociraptors, and even become a minion all at Universal. Not to mention the thrills you get when going to Halloween Horror Nights(HHN). Or you could meet the Grinch during Christmas at the Dr. Seuss land. Plus whenever I go to Universal I feel at home compared to Disney World where whenever I’m there the long lines and gaps between rides make me feel like I’m never going to be able to do anything there without coming home with leg pain. Not to mention the fact that next year there is going to be a new park being added to Universal called Epic Universe that includes How to Train Your Dragon, Super Mario, Harry Potter, Universal Monsters, and their own original land Celestial Park. Some may say that Disney does better when it comes to theming and I agree the theming that Disney has done for Star Wars is out of this world. Epcot also looks awesome. But, Universal also does amazing theming whether you’re in the Marvel land, Dr. Seuss land, or Illumination avenue, etc. you feel as if you’ve gone to a whole different world each time. Not to mention the ticket prices are cheaper than Disney’s. In conclusion, if you’re planning on taking a trip to Orlando Universal would be the better choice when it comes to which theme park to choose.

Ethan is a 7th grader that goes to Wellington Landings MIddle School. He likes basketball, video games, plays, and films. When he grows up he hopes to be an actor because he loves how immersed in a play you can feel when you’re a part of the production. His favorite part of school are the electives because he can really just enjoy those classes instead of being worried about turning in homework late or anything.
