The recent photo of a cliff at the edge of the Yangtze River has been going viral for the adorable fact that it is shaped like a puppy.
Quo Qinshan was hiking in China near the town of Yichang, in Hubei Province in late January. As he reviewed his picture he noticed the cliff had a shape of a puppy on the edge of the river.
“It was so magical and cute. I was so excited and happy when I discovered it.” Qinshan stated, “The puppy’s posture is like it’s drinking water, or it’s looking at some fish. It looks like it’s quietly protecting the Yangtze River.”
He posted his picture on the Chinese social media app, Rednote. The photo almost immediately went viral, receiving 120,000 likes in ten days. It also drew tons of attention on the app Weibo.
