On Tuesday December 9th 2025 Messi was announced MVP making him the first ever MLS player to get back to back a back to back MVP. Messi is also the captain of the MLS team Inter Miami. Messi in some of the fans’ minds is known as the greatest soccer player of all time and getting back to back MVp certainly helps that claim.
Messi just keeps adding on to his list of achievements and awards also winning 2 world cups one with Argentina and one with France and this MVP award is now on his list. Messi also got during the season a league best 29 goals along with 19 total assists.
Messi is nothing short of a great player and is also a legend in some fans’ minds. And is an overall great player in the soccer community.
