March Madness is officially over and the University of Michigan was crowned champions, but the madness of this year’s tournament will never be forgotten. There were many upsets and amazing buzzer beaters to make the tournament one of the best. The tournament kicked off early with an upset of High Point over Wisconsin when Chase Johnston scored a game winning layup which was his first two points of the year. This really started the madness as the march madness kicked off.
Then Kentucky played Santa Clara and hit a half court buzzer beater to send it to overtime then they ended up beating them. Then another crazy game was Duke versus Uconn in the elite 8, the one versus the two seed. Duke was up by 19 and Uconn came back to be down 2 with 10 seconds left. Then Uconn got a steal and Braylon Mullins hit a miracle shot to win the game. Uconn ended up going to the championship though they lost to Michigan.
Michigan was a powerhouse all year and elite players like Elliot Cadeau and Yaxel lendenborg scoring many points and amazing plays to win the tournament. It was an amazing tournament with much magic and one to be remembered.
