Which is better: reading the book or listening to it. In my opinion I think reading something is better than listening to it. For example it”s easier for me to focus on what I can see and not what I can hear. Yes, it is more convenient to carry around a phone for example and not a book but, you can read something on your phone if that is the case.
Another reason why I prefer to read instead of listening is it is better for me if I get distracted. This has happened to me before, I tend to zone out a lot and if I’m listening to something I stop hearing it so I miss what they were saying but, if I’m reading something as looking at the words and reading them then if I space out then when I come back I haven’t lost my place. If I was listening then I would have to pause it and rewind to the last part I remembered.
Now the debates that audiobooks are better also have good arguments. One example is that it’s more convenient to access at any time, which is true. If you’re walking or exercising you’re most likely not going to be able to read so in situations like this it’s useful that you can listen to it.
