Alligator at WLMS
In Mississippi, four hunters caught a 14-foot Alligator in the swamps of Mississippi. The alligator was estimated to be 14 feet 3 inches and 802 pounds and because it was too heavy to lift by hand, they hoisted the alligator with a forklift.
The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks confirmed in a social media post the 14-footer had broken the state record for “longest alligator harvest.
They harvested it only one month before the harvest season ended. This Prehistoric beast was harvested in the Yazoo River on the second day of Mississippi’s harvest season. “We knew he was wide,” Woods said “ His back was humongous. It was like we were following a boat.”

There is a 15 foot alligator in the lake behind my house along with other smaller ones! I have called several times to the Game Warden to come and take them away! They say it is a private lake and they can do nothing unless they get into my yard! There are many children who live in this community and several curious boys who I have encouraged not to go out there again because of the gators! I need help before something tragic happens!
I live in Brandon East Community/Brandon
