On November 20, 1973 “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” aired for the first time. Now fifty years later on October 20, 2023, a remastered version was released by Warner Bros for the fiftieth anniversary.

The story starts with Peppermint Patty inviting herself and her friends to a crazy Thanksgiving party at Charlie Brown’s house. After this, Charlie Brown will be needing some help. Thankfully for Charlie Brown Linus, Snoopy, and Woodstock all agree to help Charlie Brown and save the day!

It is a fan favorite as 91% of Google users liked this movie, it has a 67% Rotten Tomatoes and a 4.7 audience rating summary.

The new edition will have 21 tracks by the late Vince Guaraldi, with almost fifty percent of them not previously released. There are also many retakes of old favorites such as “Thanksgiving Theme” and  “Linus and Lucy”. Vince is assisted by Seward McCain playing the electric bass, Mike Clark playing the drums, Tom Harrell playing trumpet, and Chuck Bennett on the trombone.

It is a great movie for four-year-olds and up as it is only thirty minutes long. This makes it a perfect movie to watch during your Thanksgiving break.
