There are many reasons that homework should not be given to students, one of which is academic burnout. Academic burnout has a profoundly negative impact on students and is likely to have an even greater effect on them in the future.
Doing homework makes you tired and will make you not want to do it even more. When you’re a kid going through elementary and middle school, doing tons of homework throughout the years, you will get very tired and/or burned out, and you will just give up.
Another reason that homework should not be given to students is because of when you get home, you don’t have time for personal growth and physical activity. When you’re doing homework then you have no time for personal growth, like hobbies, extracurricular activities, and social development. Homework reduces opportunities for play and exercise, which can lead to obesity. In all, homework should be banned, or else in the future you’re going to have a difficult life.

I loved this passage. Great job! The introduction was phenomenal, however I plead to give constructive criticism. The message conveyed smoothly and I enjoyed it greatly, but some words could be replaced to captivate the reader. An example that could be used, academic burnout. Burnout and academic are great words to represent the theme, but contradicting that thought is what I intend. Usage of burnout refers to mental health rather than a general topic, fatigue could be better as it’s a much more general word that could be an umbrella word. “Fatigue” is much more appealing to readers. I also observed that academic burnout is quite repetitive, alternating between synonyms could help reduce fluffiness in your article.
