On September 20, 2025, A man and his friends went skydiving over Tully Airport in Australia. When they were getting ready to jump, one of the men jumped and got stuck on the wing of the airplane, hanging over 15,000 feet above the ground. The aircraft , a Cessna 208 Caravan, was carrying one pilot, and 17 parachutes, including a camera operator. On September 20, as they attempted to to a 16-man formation jump.
The camera man stepped out first, holding on to the fuselage of the plane. When the first skydiver emerged, a handle securing their reserve chute caught the flap of the wing. The chute dragged the skydiver backwards, knocking the camera operator into a free fall. The skydiver, who was not publicly identified, flew straight into the plane horizontally. The man then pulled out a hook knife to cut himself loose and thankfully no one was hurt in the end.
