A flood started in Washington just about a week ago. It started when water breached a levee starting a flash flood warning and an evacuation order for some residents. The last time Washington had a flood was late 2021 and earlier there was another flood earlier in 2009 and 2007 which both have caused widespread flooding.
In 2021 there was a major flood and it is now followed by another flood which is unfortunate because some areas are still recovering from the 2021 flood. There isn’t a precise amount of money from the damage of the flood there is an estimate of about 3.5 million dollars and we aren’t very far into the flood. The 2021 floods caused 50 million in only one county impacting unfortunately impacting residents homes, small business , and some known businesses.
