December 17, 2025 most adults are more than a little fine than getting money or gift cards for presents. 6 in 10 adults say that they want more money and gift cards than thoughtful gifts. Adults are also saying that it is very expectable for kids too, while kids may be hoping for a toy they get money and gift cards instead.
Old adults too say that they rather get money than gifts. And they say that they will sleep in on the holidays rather than spend time with family or being with friends. They say that they don’t really have nothing to do over the holiday and just sleep it out. One bus driver said that at their age there really is nothing to do.
It states, “Come New Year’s Eve, she’ll be fast asleep before 2026 rolls around. “At our age, we don’t do anything,” the retired bus driver said with a laugh of herself and her live-in partner. ‘He’s set in his ways.’”.
