Silksong is a game sequel of a previous game, “Hollow knight”. It takes place in the kingdom of Pharloom with the new main character, Hornet, while she fights many creatures that get in her way. Already this sounds like a good story for this brand new game, and it is. Because of this amazing sequence of events, it makes the game better than most metroidvania games.

Silksongs game play is more simple, making the game even more enjoyable because of the fact of not trying to learn hundreds of combos instead of playing the game. Not only the game play that makes it fun, it is also the beautiful calming and also well painted background to make silksong even iconic for its own animation style. Even their own enemies have amazing looking designs making the coolest thing you will ever see and stunned like the Fourth chorus.

In 2025 the games that we all play are insanely overpriced nowadays with the new Nintendo games now costing over $80 dollars for a singular game that is small as a bottle cap. But on the other hand, Silksong hollow knight is only priced around $20 dollars making it one of the best cheap games of all of 2025. And because it only costs $20 dollars, that means you could get all of this amazing gameplay for a small amount of money. So. This is why I think Hollow knight Silksong should have won game awards for 2025.
