I will talk about how sharks deserve more respect because people treat them as monsters because they killed a couple of people. Well here’s the thing: we kill more sharks in a year than they do kill humans and because we are killing all the sharks the population has been decreasing for a huge amount. 

Another thing is that sharks help protect certain areas in the ocean and help maintain the population of fish so it won’t overpopulate. To help maintain the population you would need to not catch the fish and eat it because the sharks are also losing the food they eat because of that so it’s one way to help. 

Another way is to help with cleaning the ocean because it’s another thing that is killing them because we aren’t throwing it away where they belong.

 So that’s why sharks are misunderstood because if we continue to kill them they will become extinct and then the food the sharks eat would overpopulate because of it and that would be an issue.
