A bear and lion have been put in captivity to find forever homes in northern Albania. Erion is a 3 year old lion, and Flora is a 2 year old bear,and now they are both starting new lives in their forever homes. 

There is an amazing organization called FOUR PAWS that has helped carry out and rescue after Albania’s National Forestry Agency located the Erion based on TikToks posted by the owner. No one has named the people who are now being the permanent care takers of these animals as pets yet.

Veterinarians gave anesthesia to both animals before loading them up in crates and sending  them to their new forever homes. They had a 70 hour trip through several countries. Now with both animals being new homes Erion now being housed in an animal sanctuary in southeast Germany and Flora now being in a bear sanctuary in the north of the country. Both Flora and Erion have been in very poor condition and this has been such a blessing that they are in new homes and doing very well.
