I believe we shouldn’t have to do Book Taco because it is AI and is not helping us do anything. If anything, it actually makes the school spend more money then if they were to go back to how it used to be. 

I think that the most effective way to do our independent reading novels is to continue to use the Google Slides. It is a cheap and effective way to make sure that we fully read and understand our book. I got the opinion from several people and they all say that “Book Taco sucks” and “It’s AI trash”. Nobody supports it and it truly does suck. 

The school made a random decision to switch from Google Slides to Book Taco and nobody approved of it. If the school asked to 

switch between Google Slides and Book Taco then maybe we would have accepted it as long as we get to make a few changes such as improving the quality of the photos and animations, allowing us to read the stories instead of just making us track the reading, and removing all of the AI in general to replace it with better high quality animations or pictures if they really wanted to because I feel like they put no real effort into producing their app so that’s why I say to remove Book Taco or make it better.
