For those who don’t know, a massive AI Datacenter is proposed to be built less than a thousand feet away from the Arden community in between the development and the power plant. Arden is home to over 2000 houses and an Elementary School. Having a Datacenter this close to an elementary school will be detrimental to the health and learning of the students. This project is known as Project Tango and is a major issue. The project is proposed to be a massive 3.69 million square feet facility home to computers for AI programs.
AI Datacenters come with many bad effects on the surrounding area. First of all when you are within a 5 mile radius of an AI Datacenter you will hear a constant humming noise. Project Tango will also cause pollution in the area and in the water. This is a big issue because many people living in Loxahatchee and The Acreage get their water from underground wells and they don’t have pipes. Property values also will go down in the area as a result of this.
Project Tango is not just an Arden issue it affects all of western Palm Beach County as the effects will still be seen. This is a very important issue and time is running low. The vote to approve this project is going to take place on April 26, 2026. This is a very important issue that needs to be known throughout all of Palm Beach County. It is very important to inform others about this project to join the cause and stop Project Tango.

yes, as someone that lives close to the area this will cause major problems to surrounding area especially the government protected everglades.
