A small group of otters slipped into their week with a great start to an early morning. Prancing around in the snow at the Baltimore’s National Aquarium.
Around 7am security cameras from the aquarium caught the otters in the act of what was described as, “rolling, sliding and Romping through the snow”. They were found on an outside deck close to the city’s Inner Harbor.
Even while the nor’easter hit and covered a lot of snow across the Northeast, the otters still found a way to have fun. One of the otters visiting the aquarium, started rolling on its back on the snowy deck, close to the Inner Harbor. Before taking off, turning it into a running start, to slide across the slippery snow.
The aquarium wrote in their Facebook Post, “ Marylanders may have been fretting about the snow, but the otters visiting our Harbor Wetland Exhibit were not!” Proving that the otters were undisturbed by the cold.
Otters are mostly found in Maryland’s rivers, Tidal areas, and marshes.
