AI has always been there to help you with something like homework or maybe trying to find a good recipe to bake, but have you thought about what AI is doing to our planet? AI has been around since 1956 and has been improved, changed, and tweaked but AI is not always helpful.

AI has always affected climate change but not always significantly but lately that has changed. AI has been affecting climate change way more than it used to and this has become a problem.

One way it is affecting climate change are computers. Cooling computers that use AI use lots of water and energy which can harm the environment. Some other  ways that AI can negatively affect climate change is when old computers and parts become waste which can pollute the environment. Also training an AI admission can lead to coal or gas power releases. Did you know that bad climate change can lead to the death of many Polar Bears so they can lose their life as well as their home when the ice melts?
