Wellington Landings should bring back the 30 second warning because for many kids that chant is telling them to hurry up and get to class. The chant features people shouting “Go Gators” along with a band playing, now this is so recognizable it helps kids not be late all around the school.
I personally know use this warning to start picking up the pace and getting to class. This warning is also helping some of the newer students who still aren’t fully aware of where the class is, this chant gives them enough time to ask an adult to tell them where the class is and they won’t be late.
In addition to helping more students not be late, it also helps more students not get detention. If you weren’t aware, when you get four tardies you are also getting a detention and the chant was helping kids get out of multiple detentions. And that is why Wellington Landings should bring back the 30 second warning.

I think that it is dumb that they removed it, I think that they should bring it back. It really was helpful with mitigating tardies.
