On April second 2026 marine archeologists found a Danish warship. When they found the ship it was exactly 225 years old on that day. The wreckage was found at the bottom of the Copenhagen harbour approximately 50 feet underwater.
They found 2 cannons, sailors uniforms, insignia shoes, bottles, and a jaw from a human’s face. Luckily they were able to recover every item they found while looking around the harbour for an investigation about the Lynetteholm island project. The wood actually matched historical drawings of the Dannebroge. The archaeologists were from Denmark’s Viking ship museum.
The battle where this war ship took place was on the exact date they found it 225 years old. This was the first archeological investigation that had taken place for the famous battle. This is definitely an amazing discovery for the people of Denmark.
