The “Fast and the Furious” is 25 years old? To celebrate, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster took over the Cannes Film Festival on May 13, 2026. They showed up in France looking perfect for photographers to honor the movie that started it all back in 2001.
It was a huge deal because there aren’t many Hollywood movies at The Cannes Film Festival this year, but the Fast family definitely brought the action. Even Meadow Walker, Paul Walker’s daughter, was there to celebrate.
From street racing in LA to crazy international stunts, the franchise has changed so much from when it first started in 2011. It’s still all about family. With over $7 billion made and an 11th movie called “Fast Forever” coming in 2028, these movies are never really stopping. The festival hosted a special, late-night screening of the very first movie that started the whole 10-film series. Diesel was super excited on the carpet, playfully flexing and posing for photographers. It’s so go see them at such a fancy event.
