Kanye West’s Graduation Album, Mahirah Islam

Kanye West and Taylor Swift, both rising stars and influential artists, who have been in a feud for years. Since Kanye interrupted Taylor when she was receiving recognition at the VMA’s, Swifties and Kanye fans have been at each other. Who the innocent one is may be a different matter, but I believe it can be said that Kanye West is the better artist. 

Kanye has managed to be more successful for a longer period. He has more influence overall on people. Even after so much, he managed to hold on to his position as a hip-hop icon. 

Kanye also appeals to a variety of emotions and writes songs about many topics, while all of Taylor’s songs are either about love, breakups, or a relationship. He’s just a more real artist to turn to when you’re down. 

Lastly, Kanye has a more diverse audience, having fans of all sorts of backgrounds, while the majority of Swifties are white and female. 

Both artists have gone far in their careers, but I will always believe that Kanye can’t ever be beaten.
