All of America Should Have Free Cafeteria Food

Most schools require money for school lunches. Well, those schools should be able to have free lunches.

My elementary and middle schools have had free lunches for a long time.  I go to the cafeteria lines every day, and I don’t have to remind myself to bring money daily. I think of it as a privilege because I don’t have to spend my allowance on school lunches. I have about $100 from my birthday last year and from a few chores around the house. If I were to spend my own money on school lunches during the whole school year, it would be almost $500.

When I used to live in New Jersey, I had to pay for my school lunches. It cost 3 dollars and 10 cents. My parents decided that it was too much, and made me lunch every morning. I still, and I will believe that all children should have free lunches at school.
