People Should Not Buy Dogs From Puppy Mills

All across the world, people buy dogs from anywhere they can find them. Almost 90% of these people buy from puppy mills, thinking that they will get a clean and healthy dog. Sadly, this is not true.

Puppy mills may sound like a cute little place where you can buy the dog of your dreams, but that’s not the case. Puppy mills are places where humans breed dogs in very harsh conditions. The conditions are so horrible that they are regarded as ‘inhumane’.

The puppies are given very a small amount of food and water and have no veterinary care. On top of this, all of the dogs are forced to breed until they die and never, ever leave the mill. The puppies live in cages stacked on top of each other, and when they have to use the bathroom, they fall through the grates and into the next cage.

About two million dogs die each year because of puppy mills. So the next time you or someone you know buys a dog, make sure that it is from a loving, caring place and NOT a puppy mill.

It is always good to get your dogs from shelters. The animals there are I more need of a home than puppy mill dogs.

REAL puppy mills are the worst.. they also lead to weird mutations that negatively affect the animal world and stuff. I got my dog from a rescue center 🙂
