The Choco Taco was a taco-shaped ice cream bar with peanuts dipped in milk chocolate first made in 1983 and discontinued in the summer of 2022. Recently during Taco Bells Live Mas Live event, they announced that they would be partnering with the ice cream chain Salt and Straw to recreate this classic treat.
Taco Bell has not announced that they will be selling this treat but Salt and Straw will. Luckily for us Salt and Straw has plenty of locations here in Florida, The West Coast, and Las Vegas.
This will be a slightly different version of the old treat. It will include the same taco without peanuts and cinnamon ancho ice cream rather than the vanilla ice cream in the original version. Many different dips and sauces will be available to go with this iconic treat. You can expect this treat in stores later this year during the summer of 2024.
