After years of waiting and delay, Rockstar Games announced that GTA will be released this year, on November 19, 2026. Many fans complain about this because this is the second time they have delayed GTA 6. One article criticizes that each year is the same story, that it “needs to reach a level of polish” and “trying to exceed your expectations.” They want us to feel that they are fixing the games and making them better, yet they delay it because it doesn’t meet their expectations.
The first time they announced that they were releasing GTA 6 was all the way back on December 4, 2023. The game was supposed to come out in the fall of 2025, but shortly after they announced it. No updates came, but when 2025 came around, nothing until May 2, 2025, they announced a one-year delay, saying “Grand Theft Auto VI is now set to release on May 26, 2026”. Many fans were shocked and mad, but then the second trailer for GTA 6 came out, and after that, many fans were impressed and understanding. After 6 months, another delay hit the game, moving it 5 months and 24 days later than its original delay. At this point, I conceived it
would never come out.
