Q: What is it like being in the cheer team?
A: Being on the cheer team is a very fun experience because we get to go to all the games, we get to learn new cheers, and our coach is nice . The other cheerleaders are very nice.
Q: How are the other cheerleaders like?
A: The other cheerleaders are very nice, and they are very athletic. They’re very smart, and not afraid to bring new ideas to the team.
Q: Are the cheer routines hard?
A: Not really, once you do learn them they’re pretty easy to remember. I think every year we add new cheers that we see online, sometimes they’re hard but once you start learning it more you get the hang of it.
Q: Have you ever done cheerleading outside of school, and why did you want to do it?
A: I’ve never done cheerleading outside of school but I wanted to do cheerleading because I feel like it’s kinda similar to dance and I’m very flexible and for cheer you need to be flexible, so I thought I would like it.
Kamden Pruitt is a 7th grader that goes to WLMs and is on the cheer team. Her favorite colors are pink and blue. She’s been doing gymnastics since she was 8. Her favorite hobbies are bedazzling, dancing , traveling, and cheering.
