Hayden Chipley is an 8th grader who attends Wellington Landings middle school. He is a student athlete in all advanced classes and is on the elite Wellington Landings Basketball team. Tryouts were in January with stellar competition at the tryout, but he was one of the few selected to represent landings on the team. They are off to a great start to the season being 6-0 and beating every team in the division so far. They look to make a deep playoff run and be back in the county championship like last year. Now we have some questions for Hayden
Q. Do you like basketball?
A. Yes I love basketball.
Q. How long have you been playing basketball?
A. I have been playing for five years.
Q. Is this your first year on the team?
A. Yes I trained hard over the year and it paid off.
Q. Do you think the team has a good chance of making the county championship?
A. Yes we have a lot of good players, and a good coach, and a very strong chance.
Q.Do you like your coach?
A.Yes, he is a great coach and has got us in great condition for a playoff run.
Q. Who is your toughest competition in the division?
A. I would say lake shore as it has been the hardest game.
Q. What is your prediction for end of season record?
A. I think we win the division and go 10-0.
