
South Korean boy band BTS has made their comeback after a nearly four-year hiatus, releasing their new album Arirang and performing a massive live concert at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul in March 2026. The group took a hiatus starting in 2022 to serve the South Korean military service and focus on individual careers.
BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a South Korean hip hop boy group formed in 2010. The band consists of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, who co-write or co-produce much of their material. BTSÂ debuted on June 12th, 2013. Their fandom’s name is Army. Since then they’ve accomplished many things.
BTS released their new album, Arirang, on March 20, 2026, which immediately broke Spotify records as the most streamed album in a single day in 2026 and the biggest K-pop album debut in history.Â
