
Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd reunite to mark the show’s 50th anniversary at PaleyFest LA on Monday night. They were greeted with a standing ovation and cheers from an audience at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
The show debuted on September 22nd, 1976, the show was an hour-long crime adventure series and was a top-10 hit for ABC in its first two of five seasons, which ended in 1981. Five decades later, the show remained popular in DVDs and reruns, having a counter series starring Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu.
The mostly older audience cheered and laughed at scenes from various episodes that were played. Including highlights of actor Shelley Hack, who lasted one season after replacing Jackson, and the late Tanya Roberts, who appeared in the final season.
