The Met Gala this year was very… interesting this year. The theme was all over the place and most people didn’t really stick to the theme (the theme was costume art). The co-chairs for the event were Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Beyonce. They didn’t even really stick with the theme.

Let’s start with Anna Wintour, she runs the whole event along with the co-chairs. Her outfit was very feathery and she should’ve lost glasses or worn ones that somewhat matched the outfit; her dress had various blues hues that got darker towards the bottom of the dress and she wore a feathery coat on top. So I would give her outfit a 8/10.

Next is Nicole Kidman, honestly there’s not much to say about her dress, it’s more an evening out type of dress then a met gala dress in my opinion. Her daughter accompanied her on the carpet making her debut. She wore a feather kind dress with hues of light purple, pink, and blue with earrings to match. Her rating would be an 8.5 or 9/10.

Next up we have Venus Williams, she showed up with a beautiful black skin tight dress with longish train and wide neck. She accompanied it with a beautiful diamond neck piece; the neck piece was like a story-telling piece. I would give it a 8.5/10

 Let’s continue with Beyonce, this is where the theme got lost in translation. She showed up with a skeleton dress with diamonds on the bones with a diamond head piece with skeletal hand gloves and again a feathery coverup type of coat. The theme was costume art. I’m seeing more feathers and other things than art. I would give her outfit a 7.5/10. 

Lets get to my favorites with a quick speed run. Emma Chamberlin’s dress was on point with the  mix of colors and the paint swoosh on the top of the dress, 9/10. Chase Infiniti had another beautiful dress, it was simple but colorful and full of life; it looked like a painting of her body, 9.5/10. Madonna’s dress took center stage and looked exactly like the painting she was taking it from, 9/10. Finally Heidi Klum which looked like an actual sculpture, 10/10
