Why Our Dress Code is Unfair

Many students wake up and wish they didn’t have to follow our strict dress code’s rules. A more lenient dress code would be necessary because students should be allowed to express themselves with graphics.

Many students have heard that the Middle School of the Arts, Bak, has no dress code. So then, why should Landings? Some teachers may argue that Wellington Landings is a public school, but that doesn’t change the fact that both of them are schools just ones you don’t have to try out for.

Meaning, that students should be able to wear what they want and feel comfortable in the clothes they choose. That does not mean that there won’t be a few rules, it just means that they could change a few of the big rules like “no graphics” so students can feel comfortable and happy in the clothes they choose.
