When you think of Artificial Intelligence (AI) you probably think of speed, efficiency, and accessibility being improved. However, AI is starting to be known for spreading incorrect information.
AI automatically creates fake news that goes completely against what real news sources report. They have stated false information about wars, elections, and freak accidents that lead people to think that is what is happening in the world.
An AI news source called “NewsGuard” reported a fake story about somebody’s psychiatrist, and stated that he had died. That in actuality was not true. AI should be improved so mistakes like this won’t reoccur.
